Our Governing Body composition

In July 2020, after a period of consultation with the diocese, the board of governors decided to reconstitute to reduce our number from 16 down to 12, which is more appropriate for the size of our school. Our Governing Body is therefore made up of the following:-

  • One Ex officio governor (usually the vicar/priest of St Martin's Church)
  • Six Foundation Governors, elected by St Martin's Parochial Church Council (PCC)
  • Two Staff governors – Headteacher and one elected staff representative
  • Two Parent Governors
  • One Local Authority representative
