As a Church of England Aided Primary School we have our own Admissions Policy drawn up by the governors in line with guidance from the Diocese of Winchester and Hampshire Local Authority. This policy is reviewed annually, and consulted when changes are made.

Each year we admit 20 children into our Reception class. We welcome parents to our Open Day, which is usually in October*, but also welcome visits from parents at other times - please contact the school office to arrange your visit.

We are a popular and successful school which means we are often over-subscribed with more families applying for places than we have available, and therefore the over-subscription criteria outlined in our policy are followed carefully. Please read our policy for the full details. This includes full details of how to apply for a place in our school.

In summary, children with siblings already in the school are given preference over families who live in the catchment area (see map in the policy for exact details) and then the parish of East Woodhay, who are given preference over other families who can demonstrate a Church commitment. Places are also offered to those from out of catchment, when spaces remain, and these are determined from straight line distance between home and school. Please see the full policy below for the exact map of the catchment area.
Our current Admission Policy document can be obtained by contacting the school, and from the links below.
We sometimes have vacancies within year groups, and any parent wishing to transfer their child to the school is advised to contact the school office to enquire about possible vacancies. When there are no vacancies, the school will operate a waiting list and advise parents as and when spaces become available.

From time to time we are required to carry out a consultation on changes we may make to our policy. There is no current consultation period at the moment.

Parents can also contact Hampshire County Council for a copy of the general admissions information, including the application form.
