St Martin’s is a small 5-class rural school in the beautiful village of East End, five miles from Newbury. Our strong Christian ethos and community feel drive everything we do. We value each child as a unique individual, nurturing and encouraging them to develop their own skills and talents. Our community of staff, parents, children, governors, and the local church work collaboratively to support each other. This enables us to help our children develop into happy, confident individuals, able to meet the challenges and opportunities of the future.

Our school values of respect, friendship, courage and creativity underpin life at St Martin’s, supporting our children's physical, emotional, social, moral and spiritual development, alongside their academic progress. A love of learning is at the heart of our school; we believe in developing children as lifelong learners, using our learning skills of perseverance, curiosity, reflection, teamwork, resourcefulness and concentration.

It is a real privilege to be Headteacher of St Martin’s. I am incredibly proud of everyone who contributes to our school, ensuring a high quality education and amazing opportunities for our children. We hope our children leave us with happy memories, achieving their very best.
