Morning all,
I hope the children came home buzzing from Brave Day yesterday and have shared with you all the exciting things that they got up to. There was a real mixture of activities including cooking, DT, model making, puppet shows, lego construction, cartoon drawing and computer animation, to name but a few. However what impressed me most, when I walked the school and talked to the children was just how carefully they had thought about the inspiration and the concept of humans as hope. My favourite comment was from a group of Year 2 children who said, 'we made the whole world and put our faces on it because inside all of us is a hope of light!'
A special thank you to all the staff here who were incredibly brave when supporting the children yesterday (I have a feeling they are looking forward to a normal day today!) and to all the parents and carers who supported the day by providing boxes, glitter, clay and whatever else was needed!
