New benches

The children may have mentioned that I unwrapped a parcel in worship yesterday. I am delighted to be able to share with you, that we received three benches yesterday to add to our outdoor prayer space, meaning that there is now an area where children can sit quietly in the patio area in order to reflect or pray. These were ordered last term but the delivery was delayed -apparently due to COVID!

 

We'd like to say a huge thank you to those children in Year 6 last year (and their parents) who kindly donated one of the benches as a leaving present. The whole school was delighted when I unwrapped them - they are a really good quality, look lovely in the prayer area and we are looking forward to being able to use them - as soon as the rain stops!
