Netball match

I just wanted to say a huge congratulations to those children who played in the Year 5/6 netball match after school today. It was the first time we have taken part in the local netball league and we had a fantastic start winning 11-0.

Mrs Hopkinson tells me that all the children involved showed the school values of friendship and respect to Whitchurch school and courage as it was a little daunting being their first match but when they got going their was no stopping them! The children will all receive certificates in celebration worship on Friday.

A huge thank you to Mrs Hayes for her help and support with the netball club and the match tonight, to Mrs Hopkinson for attending as staff member and to all the parents who were able to support the team this evening.
