St Martin's Orchard

And we now officially have an orchard!

I know Mrs Rennison has been claiming that we have an orchard ever since we planted the two apple trees at the edge of the field but the official definition of a orchard is 5 fruit trees. However our Stewards of God's Earth team have just planted three pear trees, alongside our apple trees, which have kindly been donated to school by the great-granny of one of our children.

A huge thank you to the Stewards (digging the hole was not an easy job!) and to Mrs Crawford for her kind donation. Hopefully we will have pears, as well as apples, next year!
