Residential update Mon Eve:
I’m grabbing a minute to update you as the children are all busy with our evening activities.
It’s been a great day! We have all done 2 activities today, from either giant swing, challenge course, abseiling and problem-solving. Everyone got stuck in and pushed themselves to do a bit more than they thought they would. We then went straight to tea which was lovely, as many children told me; lasagne, veggie lasagne or chicken katzu curry (or just breaded chicken without sauce), with garlic bread and a huge selection of salad and bubbly bits. Pudding was iced cake or fruit. All children ate really well - I promise, I checked!
We had some downtime colouring and playing games in our allocated lounge type space where we can all sit together, and now we are in the middle of a quiz night. I’ll be in touch once I’ve got all children sleeping… wish me luck!
