Our School Vision

Our Vision and Values

Our vision is an inclusive, caring, Christian community, which inspires happy, confident, independent children with a desire and eagerness to embrace lifelong learning and the ambition and determination to achieve above and beyond their potential. We aim to develop learners with the knowledge, skills and self-belief necessary to thrive and flourish, now and in the future, and to become global citizens, who strive to make our world a better place.

This vision is underpinned by our school values of Respect, Friendship, Courage and Creativity.

We Respect everyone as an individual, celebrating our own and others’ uniqueness, actively listening to each other and valuing the opinions and beliefs of others, with honesty and integrity.

Following the example of St Martin, we offer Friendship and kindness to all, especially those who have greater need, helping everyone to feel happy, safe and secure.

We show Courage and resilience when facing life’s challenges and stand up for what we believe in.

We encourage Creativity, developing curious minds and independent thinkers, who are hopeful for the future and believe in their ability to change the world around them.

Our vision was developed following consultation with governors, staff, the local community, parents and children.
