Fire Service visit Y1 and Y5

It was lovely to welcome the Hampshire Fire Service into school yesterday. They worked with the Year 1 and Year 5 children to deliver the Hampshire fire safety programme.

The children thoroughly enjoyed the sessions, listening carefully, contributing ideas and opinions enthusiastically and discussing how to keep themselves safe very sensibly. The adults running the sessions commented on how impressed they were with the behaviour of the children and they way they engaged with the session, which is always good to hear.

Well done Year 1 and Year 5 children!
