Happy Easter

We just wanted to wish everyone a very happy Easter.

 

The whole school came together virtually to celebrate Easter earlier today in our school Easter service. Although we couldn't visit the church as is tradition for this event, we did listen to Rev'd Christine and some of our year 6 children retell the Easter story and think about what it means to us. We even managed some singing within our bubbles and draped coloured cloths over a cross (as we do in our traditional service) to represent different parts of the story. Although different to our traditional service, it was still a very special event.

 

We know that there are some very tired children (and staff) at the moment, which is understandable given everything we have all had to cope with this term. We all hope that you all have a lovely Easter break and enjoy the time together, resting and recuperating, ready for next term!
