Lovely first day back

It's been SUCH a lovely day. The school has been filled with the sounds of children learning and playing, and although we've kept an eye on everyone, it appears that the children are all happy to be back. That may change for some once the novelty wears off (and the learning kicks up a gear!) but it was clear that children were pleased to be back!

Some of you adults have also mentioned feeling a little lost as you didn't have your children with you today, which is course is understandable - it will take us all a while to get used to this new normal again.

P.S. We did however also hear the odd cry of 'FREEDOM!' as some of you walked off down the road this morning....!
