Class Candles

Traditionally on a Monday in school we light a candle for every class, in whole school worship, and ask God to look after everyone working, in that class, during the week. Although we are not working in class in the normal way, we are still working and learning this week, and it felt important to continue this tradition. Therefore I have just lit a candle for each class and said our school prayer.

The words of our school prayer can be found below, if you want to say it with your children - although most of them know it by heart! Last time Mrs Rennison and I completed our pupil conferencing, we were struck by how passionately the children feel about the school prayer - the children we spoke to really felt that it is an important part of them and our school, and it might help them to stay connected with school to say it.
