Sheep Shearing

26th May 2021
Exciting morning at St Martin's - sheep shearing!
It's been such a lovely last hour. Mrs Alexander got wind of the fact that they were shearing sheep on the farm directly behind us - literally a two minute walk from school Mrs Alexander asked me to go as an additional adult with Cherries - thank you Mrs Alexander as I loved it, and then as I thought it was so amazing, I interrupted learning for Maple, Sycamore and Silver Birch and took each class for 5 minutes in turn. Maple even went in their painting aprons!
We all saw sheep being shorn - very expertly, and it was absolutely lovely. One of the benefits of being such a rural school - it was an opportunity we couldn't miss!
