What an emotional day!
Your children have been amazing. We have all enjoyed a day of fun, and have enjoyed just spending time together. This afternoon we came together for a special whole school worship where we did our usual certificates (photos should have come home with those children who were celebrated!), merits and birthdays up till Easter. We talked a little bit about what life will be like from Monday, and reminded them that whilst you as parents are standing in for us teachers for a bit, YOU are in charge from Monday!
We also shared songs that we have been learning. Cherry Class sang 'The Wise Man and the Foolish Man', and their class goodbye song, Lower School performed 'What a Wonderful World', which they have been learning in music, and Upper School performed one of the songs from their music lessons, called 'Viking Rock'. Whilst we clearly can't post videos of this, we have attached audio recordings of all of these. We know the quality isn't great, but we hope you will enjoy them as much as we all did!
